Use the CMP of the deployment to create a MP2 file for export. (This file will then be used by WebCDC to import the current device settings). This is done on CMP by clicking on the following menu items:

Check the All Configuration data button (in the Openscape Voice area) and click Edit... next to the Select switches field to select your switch. Then click OK and on the previous window Next and Export.

Navigate to the folder where the zipped ExportFile is located and open it.

Open the file ‘Package_HiPath8000 Admin Data_2_HiPath8000 Admin data_001.zip’.

Click on the button with the name of the project and from the drop-down list select the Import OSV Data (MP2) option.

A window opens that prompts the user to Browse... to the saved MP2 file. A message in the window warns that Existing data will the lost!

Once a MP2 file is specified, then click Import File.
|

Browse to the specific Node.cfg file then click Import File.
|

The Select Numbering Plan for Headquarters window shall open.
|

WebCDC then asks you to select the Xpressions Callback Number (i.e. Fallback UC Voicemail).

Next there is a prompt to select the Auto Attendant Public Number.

This is followed by a window that prompts to Select 1st Core Media Server for Headquarters. Select from the presented list whichever Media Server will be the first Media Server for the new Site. Click on OK.

If there is more than one media server, a subsequent window appears to allow the user to select the 2nd Core Media Server for Headquarters. Select from the presented list whichever Media Server will be the second Media Server for the new Site. Click OK.

The system will then ask whether openscapevoiceconfig.txt contains OSMO provisioning. Enter yes or no according to your configuration.

The Progress Log will report when Importing node.cfg is finished. It also reports the following information:

On the Site tab, add an available (empty) Site column via the Add Column button. Select the Add Columns With Form option and input the data.

As required by the specifics of the new site, enter additional configuration data into the Analog Adapters tab. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.9, “Analog Adapters Tab”.

As required by the specifics of the new site, enter additional configuration data into the Feature Profiles tab. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.8, “Feature Profiles Tab”.

Go to the Subscribers tab and add the subscribers for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.7, “Subscribers Tab”.

Select the Speed Dial Lists tab and add the speed dial list entries for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.13, “Speed Dial Lists Tab”.

Select the OSCC tab and add the call center details (if any) for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.11, “OSCC Tab”.

Select the EA Groups tab and add the Executive/ Assistant data (if any) for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.12, “EA Groups Tab”.

Select the Concierge tab and add the Concierge details (if any) or the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.18, “Concierge Tab”.

Select the Class of Restriction tab and add COR and Traffic Type values for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.14, “Class of Restriction Tab”.

Select the Toll and Call Restriction tab and add the needed restrictions values for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.15, “Toll and Call Restriction Tab”.

Select the UC tab and add data for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.16, “UC Tab”.

Select the Xpressions tab and add COR and Traffic Type values for the new site. Use the pop up help for the field explanations, or refer to Section 4.17, “Xpressions Tab”.

Once you finish the configuration of the tabs, click the Generate Config button. WebCDC will then generate the files for each delta site addition.

Import / load the produced configuration files into the deployment’s network elements following the procedure outlined in the CDC_README_GeneratedFiles.pdf file to import the configuration files onto the OpenScape Voice, Gateways (i.e., RG87XX, Mediatrix 36XX or Mediatrix 44XX), Analog Adaptors (i.e., Mediatrix 41XX), Openscape branches and/or OpenStage phones.
