2.1.11 Export / Import with Excel

Many tabs have multiple columns and rows. Examples are the Subscribers and Endpoints tab tabs. These types of tabs have an additional Import / Export button located at the bottom of the window.
NOTE:  The Add Row, Copy Row, Delete Row, Add Column, Copy Column, and Delete Column buttons at the bottom of the screen are described in Section 2.1.6, “Entry and Modification of Configuration Data”.
The Import / Export button provides options for moving data to/from excel spreadsheets. This is useful for batch transfer of Subscribers, Endpoint, and other tab data from/to excel worksheets that may have been used in off-line data collection. This is an alternative capability for the CDC Thin version that was offered in earlier releases. The specific selections are the following:
NOTE:  If you wish to export the data of all tables of the project at once you can make use of the Export Table Data to Excel option described in Section 2.1.4.
The ‘Export Structure...’ and ‘Export Structure + data...’ values are useful in establishing a usable worksheet from scratch. The first provides an empty worksheet, but with named columns ready for user data population. The second also populates the worksheet with WebCDC’s actual tab data. An excel worksheet that was created using one of the Export selections may be updated off-line and then transferred back into WebCDC using the ‘Import rows...’ option.
