2.1.6
Entry and Modification of Configuration Data
Only one user is allowed to edit a project at a time. To enter "Edit" mode, click the
Edit
button above the tabs. This locks the project, preventing other users from editing the data until you have either saved your changes by clicking
Save
or discarded your changes and reverted back to the original data by clicking
Cancel
.
NOTE:
Once
Edit
is clicked, it turns grey (an indication that the project is ‘locked’) and remains so until
Save
or
Cancel
is clicked. In order to make any additional changes after clicking
Save
or
Cancel
, the user must enter "Edit" mode again.
On some tabs, it is possible to add new rows or columns by either clicking the
Add Row
or
Add Column
drop-down button located beneath the grid (at the bottom left of the window), or by right clicking on the grid and selecting the
New Row
or
New Column
option.
There following options exist when adding a row or a column via the
Add Row
or
Add Columns
dropdown:
•
Add Row with Form
•
Add Column with Form
After selecting one of the options available, a window opens that prompts the user to enter the field values for the new row/column.
NOTE:
WebCDC is also able to bulk Import (and Export) multiple rows/columns of data via excel worksheets. For further information refer to
