C.3 Upgrade to HiPath Version 5

In the main menu select Action, Guided Upgrade or press F2.
Browse to the concerned folder and open the regen file.

The source version will be set automatically. Set the destination version to V5 and click OK.

Check the information (see point one HW architecture) to determine the type of HiPath HW. Select the hardware and click OK.
4.
If this has been finished without errors, complete the procedure with deleting the project. This way you keep only your original file and the upgraded one.
To do so, select in the main menu File, Project, Delete and click the Delete button.
The file extention is .oUpgr.
