4.10 OSB 50i - 500i Tab

This tab is used to enter device information only for OpenScape Branch 50i FXO/BRI/PRI. Starting with V7 the OSB 500i FXO/BRI/PRI is also supported here.

OpenScape Branch Endpoint Name (*) - A PSTN gateway or proxy name to be used in the specific branch office indicated under the Endpoints tab.

Trunk Group Name (*) - User assigned named for the port’s trunk group.To configure multiple trunk groups for an OSB, insert multiple rows using the same OSB endpoint name.

Trunk Type (*) - Usage of the trunk. Emergency Trunk is used for routing the Emergency traffic only. Normal Trunks are used to route all the normal traffic.
Important: This field is mandatory for OSEE deployments.

PSTN Switch Interface Protocol - Set the PSTN switch interface protocol for the PRI OSBs. Select one of the T1 switch types for US sites or one of the E1 switch types for non US sites. You may configure different switch interface protocols for each trunk group of the PRI OSBs.

T1 CAS Signaling - Set the CAS Line Signaling type. Set this only for OSBs with PRIs that support T1 CAS.

Physical Port (1 to 8) -

For BRI/FXO interface up to 4/8 ports are allowed respectively. For both above interfaces the entire port selection is allowed when associated to a trunk group. Reservation of a port can be performed by using the "X" symbol

For PRI interface input values have to either be a range of channels or individual channels separated by comma or "X" symbol when the entire port is used. Numeric values indicate the association of channels for the Trunk Group in a PRI Span connected to this port. E.G. 4-10, 14, 18, 19-24. For PRI up to 23 channels for T1 and 30 for E1 without the D channel. All the channels specified will be enabled while the rest of them will be disabled by default.

Default Dest - The value must be in the DID range. If empty, the Default Home DN of the endpoint is used.
