4.2.1 General parameters of the OpenScape Voice system

OpenScape Voice Type - Possible options include:
OpenScape Switch ID - This is the Openscape Switch ID defined in CMP and corresponds to the id of the monitored OSV.
IMPORTANT: This field is mandatory in case UC is provisioned!
Keyboard settings for node.cfg - Keyboard setting that will be used in the OSV server. The selected language will be used in the node.cfg file. Default value: english-us.
Company Name (*) - The following have to be taken into account:
Business Group Name (*) - The business group of the solution in Openscape Voice.
The following rules apply:
Business Group Default Display Number (*) - The Default Display Number for the Business Group. Only numeric values with a length of 1-15 digits are accepted.
User Digest Password Generation - Specifies how the password used for Digest Authentication will be generated.
disable: no digest authentication.
user input: The specified digest password will be used for all subscribers. The password length must be 6 to 20 characters. The user may override the default value in the subscribers tab.
randomize: The digest password for all users will be automatically filled with random values.
Subscriber Display Syntax - The Subscriber Display Name format in the OSV. Possible options include:
SIP transport type (*) - This is the default signaling transport type setting for the solution. Every device or server will use this transport type. Default value is TCP.
Enable FQDN support on OSV - Support FQDN and DNS SRV for the OSV nodes.If the 'Enable FQDN support' is set to yes, then ensure that FQDNs or DNS SRV are identified in IP Tab.
Voice Codec 1-6 - Select the codecs to be used in the gateway and DLS scripts.
Media Protocol - The non-SBC components can have as Media Protocol one of the following values:
SBC: Media Protocol - The non-SBC components can have as Media Protocol:
SRTP method - Select here the SRTP encryption method:
T38 supported - Enables/disables the T38 automatically in the gateway scripts.
Packetization time (ms) - Use this filled to select the packet size in milliseconds to be used in the gateway scripts. The default value is 20 ms.
DSCP QOS for SIP/MGCP - QOS via DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point).
DSCP QOS for RTP - QOS via DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point).
SBC: Enable Remote Endpoints - When the “Enable Remote Endpoint” is enabled, then the central SBC is able to handle remote endpoints in remote sites. The “Enable Remote Endpoints” is by WebCDC by default set to NO out of security reasons. When you need it, you thus need to enable this your own.
SBC: Enable Remote Subscribers - When the “SBC: Enable Remote Subscribers” is enabled, then remote subscribers can REGISTER towards a central SBC via the WAN (e.g. via the internet) towards an OSV.
Staging - workbench selection - Only used for staging activities. Workbench selection.
Enable EA Cockpit for EA groups - Set this parameter to yes, if you want the EA groups to have EA Cockpit support (phone application). In this case the EA Cockpit application server IP address must be entered in the IP tab.
Enable PC port on phone - This parameter enables the PC port on the Openstage phone in the DLS template. The value should be “yes” if a PC is connected behind an OpenStage phone.
Breakout strategy - This setting defines if the call routing is done via a Custom breakout matrix or not. The breakout matrix should be used only for customers that have special breakout strategies. The preferred value for this setting is Standard.
Special Customer Configuration - Select “Pbx-Routing” special configuration option when migrating subscribers from existing PBXes to OSV and which involves routing using existing PBX Network for some sites. Please note, that in PBX migration scenario which involves routing over WAN only, there is no need to select: “Pbx-Routing” configuration option.

Customize Feature Codes - Enable this option to customize the Prefix Access Codes for OSV vertical features in "Feature Codes" tab.
Enable data collection for Continuous Tracing - Set this parameter to yes, if you want to enable Continuous Tracing for the applicable subsystems (OSV, OSB, SBC, UC).
Enable IPV6 Support - Set this parameter to yes to get access to the IPV6 tab.
Enable External MS for Video Conference - Enable configuration of an External Media Server used for Video Conference.
Symphonia Admin Password (*) - This is the 'SI_SYMPHONIA_ADMIN_PASSWORD' on the generated KNUT files.
Symphonia Community Name (*) - This is the 'SI_COMMUNITY_NAME' on the generated KNUT files.
DBMS Admin Account Password (*) - This is the 'SI_DB_LOGON_PASSWORD' on the generated KNUT files.
