6.1 How to Setup a New OSV Standard Solution System

Proceed as follows to set up a new OpenScape Voice system according to the Standard Solution using the WebCDC tool.
NOTE:  The tabs provide user friendly per field explanations which are available by moving the mouse pointer over the specific field’s cell. This causes ’Tool Tip’ boxes to popup and display helpful text. Additional information on each tab and the contained fields is available in Section 4.2, “General Tab”.
Prerequisites
The configuration data of the OSV system is available.
Step by Step
1.
Open the WebCDC tool and login via SSO or User / Password.
2.
Go to the Start tab and select Standard Solution for Deployment Architecture.
3.
Follow the steps in the workflow given in Section 2.5.1, “Solution Configuration” and populate the Mandatory Fields. Optional data may also be suppled as required by the specific deployment.
4.
In order to generate the configuration files/scripts follow the workflow steps in Section 2.5.2, “Generation of A Solution’s Configuration Files”.
5.
Load the configuration files into the target OpenScape devices per the information supplied in the CDC_README_GeneratedFiles.pdf file and/or the information available in Section 3.2, “Generating the Configuration Files (Export from WebCDC)”.
