3.2.9 OpenScape Branch Configuration File

OpenScape Branch configuration is saved in .xml files that contain all configurable parameters also available via the Web interface.

There is one configuration file for each OpenScape Branch device. The file naming convention is:

OSB_<Endpoint Name>_CDC.xml

The <Endpoint Name> portion of the filename is taken from the Hostname field of the Endpoints tab on which the OSB is defined.


How to Create	Click the Generate Config button. Ensure that the OpenScape Branch/SBC option is checked.
How to Import in OSB	Import via the OpenScape Branch Assistant: 1. Login on the Common Management Platform (CMP) and go to Configuration > OpenScape Branch. 2. Select a Branch Office from the drop down of the available Branch Offices. 3. From the Configuration section select the System window and Import/Export. 4. Via the Import... button a new configuration file can be uploaded to the respective OpenScape Branch Device. 5. After loading don't forget to click on the Apply Changes button. Also refer to the OpenScape Branch online help system, section "How to Load and Apply New Configuration Files".
What It Configures	OpenScape Branch 50/50i/250/500i/1000/6000 devices.
