3.2.8.4 DLS Configuration File

The Generate Config button followed by enabling the Generation choice checkbox for Generate DLS templates and device profiles generates the import_dls.csv file, which contains the primary device entries for the DLS. Keysets are also set by this script. The following parameters are also set for each device:
•
Device type. (This parameter is mandatory for an entry. If the Device Type column in the Subscribers tab is empty, then no entry is created).

MAC address

Display ID
•
Terminal Name
•
User ID (digest authentication)
•
Password (digest authentication)
•
Realm (digest authentication)
•
SIP registrar address

How to Create
Click the Generate Config button. Ensure that the DLS option is checked.
How to Import in DLS
To import:
1. On the DLS, go to IP Device Management > IP Device Configuration and click the Search button to show the current entries.
2. Go to Action > Import File to import the import_dls.csv file.

What It Configures
DLS device entries that include device-dependent parameters, such as the MAC address of the device and/or the display ID.
