3.2.3 OpenScape Voice DNS Configuration File

The fqdn.cfg file is used to configure the DNS (BIND) server on the OpenScape Voice (OSEE only). Note that this file is currently only generated in the case of the OpenScape Enterprise Express deployment architecture.

How to Create

Click the Generate Config button. Ensure that the OpenScape Voice option is checked.

How to Import in the OSV system

This file is required to be on a USB stick along with the node.cfg primary during the installation.

What It Configures

This file contains the hostnames relevant to the configured system.
