13 OpenScape Xpressions Configuration File

13.1 How to configure Xpressions Server

WebCDC generates the XprConfigFile.xml file which can be used to configure the Xpressions server for correct voicemail service.

Click on FI APL settings in the XPR monitor's modules window.
The FI APL configuration dialog opens.

Switch to the Protocols tab.

Select Add and add the XprConfig.e script.
The XprConfig.e script in now displayed on the Protocols tab.

Mark the XprConfig.e script on the Protocols tab and click on Properties.

Fill in the Poll directory field the directory in which FI APL will search for new configuration files.

Specify in the Poll rate field the intervals in which the FI APL will search for new configuration files.
Setting 0 (INFINITE) deactivates the automatic search.

Click OK to copy the settings for the script.

Click OK to copy the settings for the FI APL.

Select the FI APL settings in the XPR monitor's modules window.
The FI APL configuration dialog opens.

Switch to the Protocols tab.

Highlight the XprConfig.e script on the Protocols tab and click Properties.

Set the Header pattern to *.xml.
6.
Make sure the Poll directory field is set to the directory in which FI APL will search for new configuration files.

Specify in the Poll rate field the intervals in which the FI APL will search for new configuration files.
Setting 0 (INFINITE) deactivates the automatic search.

Click OK to copy the settings for the script.

Click OK to copy the settings for the FI APL.

Place the configuration files (mta.xml and ipapl.xml) to the directory you have selected in the Poll directory field.
Note: You have to put mta.xml first or together with ipapl.xml file in the configured folder.

Wait at least for the time period you have set in Poll rated field for the script to import the configuration.
