11 OpenScape Branch Configuration File

The <OSB_hostname>_CDC.xml file contains all necessary data for the configuration of OpenScape Branch.

Before importing an OSB configuration file to an OpenScape Branch (OSB), please refer to OpenScape Branch, Installation Guide in E-doku on how to configure a new OSB and install a valid license via CMP.
Note: Follow the instructions that make use of the OSB xml file generated by WebCDC.

If the OSB is already up and running, then follow the instructions in the latest OpenScape Branch, Installation Guide in E-doku on how to import the OSB configuration generated by WebCDC.
Note: OpenScape Branch must be licensed following the procedure described in OpenScape Branch, Installation Guide in order for proper access after the grace period. The Proxy ATA OSB 50i does not need to be licensed.
The new directories created under the OS_Branch folder are defined to match the current directory structure for the simplified OSB/OS SBC. Please refer to OpenScape Branch, Installation Guide in E-doku for further details.
