8.1 Notes on new Field "OpenScape Switch ID"

This is the OpenScape Switch ID defined in CMP and corresponds to the ID of the monitored OSV.
–
For Onboard CMP (Integrated Simplex OSV) this is always "2"
–
For Offboard CMP (Standard Duplex OSV) this ID increases when multiple OSVs are monitored.
 
Steps to find Switch ID in CMP
1.
Navigate to Configuration > OpenScape Voice > Switches and click on the OSV switch.
2.
On the pop up window under the General tab the Switch ID can be found next to the Name field.
 
Steps to find Switch ID in CMP for OSV V8.0:
1.
Navigate to Configuration > OpenScape Voice > Switches.
2.
Click on the General button.
3.
Select Switches and click on the OSV switch.
4.
On the Switch ID field you can find the ID of the monitored OSV.
 
Note: In case the user leaves this field empty, WebCDC will notify the user that it will automatically set the field to the default id "2".
Note: This is not needed in Delta mode.
